Opening for the first time on the 18th of April 2007, Bistro Red is the latest addition to the group of businesses in the thriving courtyard at Monte Duquesa.

Proprietors Mike and Kerry Lamb are proud and pleased to have opened Bistro Red. Mike, well known from Martins on the Marina at Estepona, will be offering fresh fish from the blackboard as well as a selection of meat dishes including steaks from the charcoal grill.

A well-written menu is one that entices you to try the food before you even set foot in the premises and one that clearly shows the chef's pride in his food. A preview of Mike's menu shows a mix of original dishes as well as firm favourites.
Try reading "Slow roasted belly of pork served with caramelized apple, mashed potato flavoured with sage and onion and black pudding with a stock gravey" to get the taste buds tingling, or "Chargrilled calves liver set on a bed of grain mustard mash served with onion and port wine sauce and crispy bacon".

The food is served in a comfortably modern, stylish setting with crisp linen table covers, immaculately shiny table wear, gleaming glasses and bright white plates, very Parisienne and very attractive.

Before arriving in Spain Mike owned and ran two award winning restaurants in the north west of England and takes great pride in cooking in his own restaurant.

Bistro Red looks set to become a popular and trendy eating place. Why not try it for the first time by taking advantage of the early bird special. From 6pm to 7pm, two courses for just €14.95.
